An Giang Province

This orphanage was first among our expansion into the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Despite the remote location, there is a university nearby and a focus on regional, national, and international agriculture. With the support of generous donors, Kidspire opened an entirely renovated Innovation Lab classroom space in this orphanage in Summer 2019.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province

When Kidspire moved our headquarters from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in 2010, Vung Tau became our first orphanage partner in the south of Vietnam. With classes running since October 2010, this orphanage represents our longest standing partner. We have been thrilled to see graduates going on to university, and the entire culture of learning steadily improving within the orphanage.

Ben Tre Province

Located a few hours outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre is well known as the capital of coconut production in Vietnam. This orphanage represents the third Kidspire partner in the Mekong Delta, providing us with another opportunity to support children from a remote location to take steps towards preparing for their futures after leaving the orphanage.

Hau Giang Province

In a small industrial city, alongside a highway running between Can Tho and the coastal cities of the Mekong Delta, lies the newest orphanage partner for Kidspire. Though the orphanage is small, the opportunities available to the children are limited and Kidspire is proud to have the chance to support these kids in taking steps towards the dreams they have for their future.

Ho Chi Minh City

Over the years, Kidspire has taught in 8 orphanages in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, our efforts are focused on two orphanages, including an HIV/AIDS orphanage where the children face significant obstacles they must overcome if they want to find meaningful employment after graduation. Our newest Innovation Lab is planned to open in HCMC in Spring 2020 - providing an incredible classroom and training space for students, teachers, and volunteers. HCMC is also the location of our Lead VN program, a career mentoring and preparation seminar for students age 18-22.

Kien Giang Province

Located outside of Rach Gia City, this was our second partner in the Mekong Delta, and the orphanage located the furthest distance from our headquarters. This orphanage also features our first Innovation Lab, which opened in 2018, allowing us to demonstrate to government officials how important the classroom environment can be in cultivating student engagement.

Other Locations

Thirty-two orphanages and nearly 1,500 children have participated in the Kidspire program. While the 7 orphanages listed above are our primary focus at this time, we remain connected with many of the other orphanages in offering career seminars, Summer STEAM Camps, or ongoing mentoring for students.
