Bang is an integral member of Orphan Impact. Since our beginning, Bang has been on the team. She is a Google Educator, holds certification in Intel Learn project-based learning, and does a fantastic job of connecting with, and motivating her students.
Student Career Coordinator
In 5 years with Orphan Impact, Long has managed operations, maintained our fleet of computers, trained other teachers, and worked closely with expert volunteers from Intel, Team4Tech, VMware, Box, and Facebook while working to find solutions to operational challenges.
My brings with her an impressive background in science, helping strengthen the S in the Orphan Impact S.T.E.M. focused approach. As a Lead Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, and now Team Captain, My has been involved in all parts of our classroom.
We first met Ngoc when she was volunteering as a computer teacher at an orphanage in the Mekong Delta. We quickly invited her to join our team and have been grateful ever since. Ngoc inspires her students to dream big.
Anh met one of our teachers during an evening French class and they started chatting about Orphan Impact. Anh soon joined our team, first as admin staff, then a classroom teacher, and now a Team Captain, responsible for managing the activities in 4 orphanages.
Tien first joined Orphan Impact through our Volunteer Teacher program. She impressed us with her dedication as a volunteer and earned a full-time position on our team. She is now Team Captain, managing her own team of volunteer teachers.
Tad started Orphan Impact in 2008 with the idea that computers could be used as a tool to spark an interest in learning among children growing up in Vietnamese orphanages – helping children to acquire skills that would motivate them to look towards their future with a newfound hope and optimism.
